Term dates
We meet every Thursday throughout the year, other than for 3 weeks in mid-summer and 2 weeks at Christmas. Term dates for 2026 are:
Term 1: 8 Jan - 19 Mar
Term 2: 26 Mar - 4 Jun
Term 3: 11 Jun - 30 Jul
Summer break: August
Term 3 (cont...): 3 Sept - 17 Sept
Term 4: 24 Sept - 10 Dec
Training sessions
Subject to availability, we offer two training sessions:
- 7.00 - 8.30 pm
- 8.30 - 10.00 pm
Sessions include setting up and putting away the equipment.
Unlike many other clubs, we run multiple classes at the same time in three rings, so dogs quickly get used to training with other distractions about them, which is extremely useful should you go on to compete.
About your dog
We require all dogs to have a good level of obedience and recall which we will test on your first night. All dogs need to be fully vaccinated (including kennel cough), and insured.
If you have a reactive dog, don't necessarily dispair. There are plenty of dogs in the agility world in the same boat and still do really well. They even find the sport a good way to channel their energy. Please let us know in advance so we can see if we can find a way of managing your dog's behaviour.

Cost to join and train at Cranbourne
Cranbourne is a not-for-profit club. Our fees, therefore, cover all our operating costs, equipment, and special events. Our trainers are all volunteers.
Members have two options:
- £27 per dog each month, which includes an annual £20 membership fee; or
- £74 per 11 week term per dog, with the membership fee due in August.
Our preferred means of payment is by BACS or Standing Order.
